Altoona Curve News Release

ALTOONA- The Altoona Curve today announced single-game and season ticket pricing for the club's Tenth Anniversary Season in 2008, which will open at Blair County Ballpark in Altoona on Thursday, April 3 against the Reading Phillies.

For the first time in five seasons, and for only the second time in the 10-year history of the franchise, the Curve have announced an increase in ticket prices for the 2008 season. Single-game tickets will increase by $2 in the "Rail Kings" section, located on the Toyota Party Deck, by $1.50 in the Diamond Club (100 Level) and by $1 in the Terrace (200 Level), Grandstand (300 Level) and General Admission areas. There will be no price increase in the UPMC Health Plan Home Run Junction section (Outfield Bleachers).

Single-game and season ticket prices for the Curve's Tenth Anniversary 2008 Season are as follows:

Seating Section Single-Game Price Season Ticket Price

Rail Kings (on Toyota Party Deck) $14.00 $852.00

Diamond Club (100 Level) $11.00 $702.90

Terrace (200 Level) $8.00 $511.20

Grandstand (300 Level) $7.00 $447.30

UPMC Health Plan HR Junction (OF Bleachers) $6.00 $383.40

General Admission $5.00 Not Available

"We have always been sensitive about ticket prices, as shown by the fact that prices have remained the same across the board for the past five seasons," said Curve President and Managing Partner Chuck Greenberg. "Even as we have been investing millions of dollars into improving Blair County Ballpark, including the new scoreboard and videoboard we installed before the 2006 season, prices have remained unchanged. Simply put, given the cost increases we, like all businesses, have encountered from our own suppliers in recent years, this increase is necessary to be able to provide the same quality of fun, affordable, family entertainment that has been enjoyed by over 3 million fans and earned the Curve the highest honors that can be bestowed upon a minor league baseball franchise."

The Curve also announced an exciting expansion of the current Season Ticket Holder Benefit Program to include season-long discounts on tickets, merchandise and food, as well as other brand-new benefits. 2008 Curve Season Ticket Holders will receive the following great benefits:
