Cubs vs. Blue Jays Postponed

Daytona Tortugas News Release


The Daytona Cubs vs. Dunedin Blue Jays game scheduled for Saturday, August 11th at 7:05p.m. has been postponed due to rain. The two teams will play a doubleheader on Sunday, August 12th, with first pitch of game one scheduled for 4:05 p.m. All tickets for Saturday's game can be exchanged for any future 2012 Daytona Cubs regular season game.

Game 1 RHP P.J. Francescon (2-5, 3.75 ERA) RHP Marcus Walden (7-1, 3.19 ERA)

Game 2 LHP Austin Kirk (7-3, 3.13 ERA) RHP Scott Copeland (1-1, 1.72 ERA)

Sunday's doubleheader will end a six-game home-stand for the Cubs. After taking two of three from the Lakeland Flying Tigers, the Blue Jays won game one 8-5 on Friday. Due to the rain delay before Friday's game, the Cubs have added a third "Dog Days" at Jackie Robinson Ballpark, scheduled for Friday, August 31st. Pets are welcome for $2 benefitting Greyhound Pets of America.
