It was a memorable final in England's FA Cup on Saturday as Manchester United defeated Vancouver International Soccer Challenge participants Crystal Palace FC 2-1 at Wembley Stadium.Substitute Jason Puncheon gave Crystal Palace a 1-0 lead in the 78th minute, but Juan Mata found the equalizer for Manchester United just three minutes later.

Crystal Palace looked to be in the ascendancy in the final period, but an exquisite first-time volley from Jesse Lingard gave United their record-tying 12th FA Cup title.

Both teams have been invited to play by the Vancouver-Guangzhou Friendship Society and Vancouver Vancouver Chinese Soccer Association, adding to the celebration of the Vancouver-Guangzhou Friendship Cities Cup celebrating the communities as sister cities.
Whitecaps FC season ticket members can purchase their regular seats through Account Manager until this Wednesday, May 25. Tier 2 members will have access to a pre-sale on Thursday, May 26. Single match tickets will go on sale through Ticketmaster on Friday, May 27.
