Dallas Wings News Release
ARLINGTON, TX - Crystal Dangerfield, who has missed the previous four games with an ankle injury, has been cleared to return to play, the team announced today.
With Dangerfield's return, the Wings have released Odyssey Sims from her hardship contract.
Sims release was necessitated by the return of Dangerfield from injury as the Wings once again have 10 available players thus requiring the termination of a hardship contract.
Dallas was afforded the hardship contract that was given to Sims due to the team having less than 10 available players following long-term injuries to Diamond DeShields and Lou Lopez Senechal, the aforementioned injury to Dangerfield and the departure of Teaira McCowan who is competing for Turkey in the Eurobasket competition.
