
Crush sign Whitson to practice squad

DENVER - The Colorado Crush announced today that they have signed OL/DL Tyshaun Whitson to the practice squad. Per team policy, terms of the deal were not released.
Whitson, a 6-6, 293 pound lineman out of Baylor played with the Peoria Pirates of arenafootball2 in 2003. He also appeared in one game for the Grand Rapids Rampage in 2002.
The Crush practice squad now stands at three players. Per league rules, each team is permitted four practice players.

The Crush is currently in its second season in the Arena Football League, and is owned by a partnership group consisting of Denver Broncos legendary quarterback and 2004 Hall of Fame inductee John Elway, Denver Broncos owner Pat Bowlen, and Stan Kroenke of Kroenke Sports Enterprises, which owns the Denver Nuggets, Colorado Avalanche and Pepsi Center.
