Crush Hold Press Conference, Mascot Search

Connecticut Crush News Release


Mayor Pawlak of New Britain will meet with Melanie DePamphilis, owner of the CT CRUSH Women's Football Team on Tuesday, March 18, 2003 to publicly acknowledge the two-year contract signed on March 12th. The contract states that the home game location for the CT CRUSH will be the Veteran's Memorial Stadium. The meeting will be held at the Mayor's Office located at City Hall, 27 South Main Street in New Britain at 9:00 A.M. on March 18, 2003. All media representatives are welcome to attend. Questions will be answered and photo opportunities will be available.

The CT CRUSH will host a scrimmage against the Maine Freeze on Saturday, April 5, 2003 at 4:30 P.M at the Veteran's Memorial Stadium in New Britain. The scrimmage will be open to the public with no charge. Come down and check us out!

The CT CRUSH would like to announce their game schedule for the Spring 2003 Season. All home games will take place at 7:35 PM at the Veteran's Memorial Stadium in New Britain, CT.

The CT CRUSH is currently doing a search for the person interested in wearing our brand new mascot uniform! Try-outs for the mascot position will coincide with our first scrimmage against the Maine Freeze on April 5, 2003 at 4:30 P.M. at the Veteran's Memorial Stadium.
