Connecticut Crush News Release
The CT CRUSH, Connecticut's Professional Women's Football Team, is currently doing a search for the person interested in wearing our brand new mascot uniform, "Crusher" the tiger. Try-outs for the mascot position will coincide with our first scrimmage against the Maine Freeze on April 5, 2003 at 4:30 P.M. This scrimmage is free and open to the public.

About Connecticut CRUSH Women's Football
The CT Crush National Women's Football Team is embarking on its third year of hard hitting spring tackle football. The team's owner, Melanie DePamphilis, is a smart and dedicated young women with a great vision for her team. Melanie has hired a full professional staff this year to help her with the task. The 2003 season will prove to be the CRUSH's best yet with the announcement of their new home location at Veteran's Memorial Stadium, neighboring the home of the New Britain Rock Cats.
The CT CRUSH team football players consist of 55 high-spirited family-oriented women aged 18-46 committed to playing full-contact tackle football. The 10 week season consists of 4 home games and 4 away games. The women of CT CRUSH are very excited to kick off their season on April 12, 2003 with an away game against the Philadelphia Phoenix. The first home game for the CT CRUSH will be on May 3, 2003 at the Veteran's Memorial Stadium in New Britain. All home games begin at 7:35 P.M.
