Hickory, NC - The Hickory Crawdads have announced the game times for their 2016 schedule, with the team expanding its popular early start times in the spring.
The Crawdads early, spring start times are back for the fourth consecutive season, with Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Saturday contests once again beginning at 6:00 pm EST for the months of April and May. New for 2016 will be 6:00 pm start times for Thursdays and 3:00 pm for Sundays during the first two months of the season as well.
Beginning in June, all Monday - Thursday and Saturday games will switch to a 7:00 pm start time, while Sundays will revert to a 5:00 pm first pitch. Friday night games are scheduled to begin at 7:00 pm throughout the year.
April - May
Monday - Thursday & Saturday: 6:00 pm
Friday: 7:00 pm
Sunday: 3:00 pm
June - September
Monday - Saturday: 7:00 pm
Sunday: 5:00 pm
The Crawdads will also have seven total day games in 2016, serving as Education Day, Senior Day, Business Person Lunch Special, and Summer Camp Day Games:

Wed. May 25th - 10:30 am
Wed. June 8th - 10:30 am
Wed. July 13th - 12:00 pm
Wed. August 3rd - 12:00 pm
Mon. September 5th - 1:00 pm The Crawdads will begin the 2016 season with a 7-game road tip to Kannapolis and Greensboro starting on April 7th. The 'Dads will kick off the home portion of their schedule with four games against Kannapolis beginning on April 14th, followed by three games vs. Greenville to complete the week-long home stand. The Crawdads will also be home over Memorial Day weekend and Labor Day in addition to playing 10 Thirsty Thursdays and 9 Fireworks Fridays. The 'Dads will also host two additional fireworks shows on July 3rd following the night's game, and on the 4th of July with the team on the road.
