Central Valley Coyotes News Release
(Fresno, CA) - The Central Valley Coyotes (7-4) and Everett Hawks (3-8) are set to meet for the third and final time this season in Everett, Washington on Saturday June 24th. The meeting has playoff implications for both teams, a loss could end the Hawks playoff hopes for the year and a win will by the Coyotes could boost their playoff hopes.
Both teams are coming off road wins last week, the Coyotes in Amarillo, Texas, against the Amarillo Dusters and the Hawks in Stockton, California against the Stockton Lightning. The Coyotes are on a two game winning streak for only the second time this season, and are looking to make it three. Everett is looking for a two game win streak and to keep their slim playoff hopes alive.
The Coyotes are currently tied for second place with the Bakersfield Blitz (7-4) and 1.5 games behind the National Conference West Division leading Spokane Shock (8-2). A win will help the Coyotes meet their goal of a first ever playoff appearance and ArenaCup Championship.
Kick off for Sunday's game will be at 7:30 pm PST and can be heard on ESPN Radio 1430, listen to all of the play by play action brought to you Guy Haberman and Bryan Whitmore.
