Coyotes to Meet the Hawks for the First Time

(Fresno, CA) - The Central Valley Coyotes, who are looking to get back on a winning foot, are preparing to do so this Sunday April 30th against the Everett Hawks. This will be the first ever meeting between the two teams and will take place at the Everett Events Center in Everett, WA. The Coyotes (2-1) are looking to brush off their loss to the Bakersfield Blitz on April 15 after winning their first two games. The Hawks (0-3) are looking for there first ever franchise win.

Both teams are returning from a bye week and should be well rested and ready for a good old fashion turf fight. "Coach Foggie is a good coach. He was the "af2 Assistant Coach of the Year" last year and we are expecting him to have prepared his team well for us over the bye week," stated Coyote Head Coach Fred Biletnikoff Jr..

The Coyotes are looking to keep pace with the undefeated Spokane Shock who hold the first place spot in the Western Division. "There is a huge difference between 2-2 and 3-1," Coach Biletnikoff Jr. told his players this week during practice. "We've had a good few days of rest and now it's time to go to work."

Kick off for Sunday's game will be at 2:00pm PST and can be heard on ESPN Radio 1430, listen to all of the play by play action brought to you Guy Haberman and Bryan Whitmore.

The Coyotes next home game is May 6th against the Quad City Steamwheelers and will be played at Selland Arena. There are partial season ticket packages, as well as group packages, and individual game tickets, still available for the 2006 Central Valley Coyotes.
