Central Valley Coyotes News Release

FRESNO – The Central Valley Coyotes of the arenafootball2 league have also announced that they will host their first annual "Coyote Bowl", a game which will feature the area's top high school football players at Selland Arena on Saturday, March 26th, at 7:00 p.m.

The all-star game will be played on the Coyote's field with an arena football layout and under af2 league rules. Players will be selected by two local coaches that will be named at a later date.

"This game will mean a lot to the kids because it will be one last chance for the graduating seniors to perform in front of their family and friends before they go to college." said general manager Anthony Martinez.

This will be the third game of its type in franchise history as they hosted the "Blitz Bowl" in 2002 and 2003 when the organization played in Bakersfield.

The Coyotes will kick off their 2005 af2 season with an exhibition game at Selland Arena on March 27. The regular season starts on the road in Bakersfield on April 2. Fifty dollar deposits for 2005 Coyote season tickets, which include all nine games played at Selland Arena, are now being accepted at 559-263-9780.
