Central Valley Coyotes News Release

FRESNO - While anticipation builds for their second season of play in the six-year-old arenafootball2 League, the Central Valley Coyotes have announced that single-game tickets for the 2005 campaign will go on sale today, March 4 at noon.

Seats for all eight of the Coyotes' regular-season home games at Selland Arena and their exhibition game will be available at Ticketmaster outlets and the Selland Arena box office. Tickets, which range in price from $8 to $45, can also be purchased online at www.ticketmaster.com or by calling (559) 485-8597.

"Our season ticket sales are pacing well ahead of last year," General Manager Anthony Martinez said. "We are looking forward to much bigger crowds this year."

The Coyotes first home appearance will be an international exhibition game on March 27, one week prior to the regular season. After kicking off the 2005 season with a pair of road games (Apr. 2, at Bakersfield; and Apr. 16, at Oklahoma City), the Coyotes will play their home opener against the Arkansas Twisters on Saturday, Apr. 23, at Selland Arena. All eight of the Coyotes home regular season games will be played on Saturday nights at 7:30 p.m.

"Our team intends to make a run at the championship," Martinez said. "Good tickets are going fast so fans should plan ahead and get their tickets now."

The Coyotes will kick off their 2005 af2 season with an exhibition game at Selland Arena on March 27. The regular season starts on the road in Bakersfield on April 2. Fifty dollar deposits for 2005 Coyote season tickets, which include all nine games played at Selland Arena, are now being accepted at 559-263-9780.
