The Louisville Fire Arena Football team has added three offensive/defensive linemen to the roster for the 2005 season Nick Myers, Duane Ashman and Josh Beckham have all been added to the roster as camp is set to open up on March 17 in Cardinal Stadium at the Kentucky State Fairgrounds.

Nick Myers, 6'3 285 Michigan State, will be returning to the Fire for his second season. Last season Myers made his presence felt in all 15 games he saw action in. Myers totaled 25 tackles, seven tackles for a loss, six sacks and four quarterback hurries. Myers has also spent time with the New York Giants of the NFL.

Duane Ashman, 6'4 280 Virginia, was drafted by the Detroit Lions in 1997 following a successful career at Virginia in which he recorded 23 sacks in his career including eight his senior year. Ashman also spent time with the Denver Broncos and Kansas City Chiefs of the NFL, the Rhein Fire of NFL Europe and the Montreal Allouettes of the Canadian Football League.

Beckham, 6'2 285 California Berkley, spent time in the Columbus Destroyers' (Arena Football League) camp prior to this season. Beckman is a natural defensive lineman who can also play center. In his four years at Cal, Beckham totaled 71 tackles, 15.5 tackles for loss and six sacks.
