
Coyotes Acquire Stefan Elliott from Colorado in Exchange for Brandon Gormley

Springfield, MA - Arizona Coyotes General Manager Don Maloney announced today that the Coyotes have acquired defenseman Stefan Elliott from the Colorado Avalanche in exchange for defenseman Brandon Gormley.
The 24-year-old Elliott appeared in five games with the Avalanche in 2014-15. The 6-foot-1, 190- pound native of Vancouver, BC also registered 19-21-40 and 22 penalty minutes (PIM) in 64 games with Lake Erie. Elliott has totaled 43-52-95 and 46 PIM in 199 career AHL games and was originally drafted by the Avalanche in the second round (49th overall) in the 2009 Entry Draft.
Gormley recorded 3-7-10 and 18 PIM in 23 games with the Pirates last season.
