
County Executive to Issue Challenge for Milwaukee Iron Football

Milwaukee County Executive Scott Walker is issuing a challenge to Edward Burkhardt, Honorary Consul of the New Zealand Consulate, Great Lakes Region from Chicago on Monday, March 2 at 10:15 am from the lobby of the Iron Horse Hotel, 500 West Florida Street in Milwaukee.
The County Executive is so confident the Milwaukee Iron will beat the New Zealand Overstayers at the Bradley Center on Thursday, March 12 in arena football, he has put together a package of Milwaukee County products that he's confident he will never have to deliver.
Among the items being put up by the County Executive are Harley-Davidson Motorclothes and accessories, Usinger's Sausage, Rehorst Premium Milwaukee Vodka and Gin and Sprecher Root Beer. All Items will be on display at the challenge. The challenge will take place via telephone in the lobby of The Iron Horse Hotel. Every effort to accommodate media has been made for this event.
Milwaukee Iron Owner Drew Vallozzi, General Manager Steve Meulemans and Head Coach and Director of Football Operations Gary Compton are available for one on one's if requested.
The Milwaukee Iron open the preseason against the New Zealand Overstayers on Thursday, March 12, 2009 at 7:00 and the regular season Friday, March 27, 2009 against Kurt Warner's old team, the Iowa Barnstormers at 7:00 at the Bradley Center.
