The eyes of the Eastern Conference will be focused on the North Charleston Coliseum, as the Kalamazoo Wings will battle the South Carolina Stingrays in game five of the Eastern Conference Semi-Finals. Kalamazoo leads the best-of-seven series three games to one.
Failing to close out the series last night, the K-Wings will try tonight to advance to the conference finals. Nick Sirota continued his scoring dominance last night, notching the K-Wings lone goal in game four to push his point streak to eight games.
Fighting for their season a second straight night, the Stingrays enter tonight trying to force the series back to Wings Stadium. Since their inception during the 1993-94 season, South Carolina is 17-14 in games were they are facing elimination, including 1-0 this season.

Forward Nick Sirota enters game five on an eight-game point streak, as well as a four-game goal streak. Sirota leads the Kelly Cup playoffs in goals scored with seven and is tied for the league-lead with Florida's Cedric Lalonde-McNicoll with 11 points.
Scoring from the Point
When it comes to scoring from the blue line, few have been better than Sam Ftorek. With six points (1 goal, 5 assists), Ftorek is tied with Florida's Sebastien Piche Idaho's Kory Scoran for the league-lead in scoring amongst defensemen.
Scoring in the Clutch
Forward Dwight Helminen has scored three goals in the post-season, all of which have been game-winners. The three game-winning tallies by Helminen are most of any player in the Kelly Cup Playoffs.
Clinching Game
Kalamazoo enters game four with a chance to close out the series. In their 38-year history, the K-Wings are 25-12 (IHL: 16-9, UHL: 5-1, ECHL 4-2) in clinching games, including 1-1 in this year's postseason.
