Kalamazoo Wings News Release
Four weeks into the season, teams have already started to jockey for position in the standings and tonight will be no different as the Kalamazoo Wings host the Port Huron Icehawks in the first half of a home and home series. The K-Wings and the Icehawks enter the game tied for fifth place in the IHL.
Winners of two of their last three contests, the K-Wings want to build off of a 9-5 victory last Saturday over Muskegon. Kalamazoo is 1-1-0-0 at Wings Stadium this season and have outscored their opponents 10-6 on home ice.
For the third straight week, the Icehawks will face their opponent in a home and home series. Port Huron's success has come in the first period, where they lead all IHL teams in goals scored with 15.
