Tonight is the fourth of six meetings between the Kalamazoo Wings and Bloomington PrairieThunder. The K-Wings are 3-0-0 against the inaugural Thunder and have outscored Bloomington 6-1 in their two previous encounters at Wings Stadium.
After a huge shutout victory against Muskegon on Wednesday, Kalamazoo hopes to parlay their momentum into a big weekend. The K-Wings, who have won seven of their last nine on home ice, including five in a row, will host Bloomington tonight and Rockford tomorrow at Wings Stadium.
Bloomington comes to Wings Stadium fighting for their playoff lives. With a little over four weeks remaining in the regular season, the PrairieThunder trail the Port Huron Flags by 12 points for the final playoff spot in the league.

From College to the Pros
Defenseman Ryan Mahrle will be making his professional debut this evening for the K-Wings. Mahrle joins the K-Wings after spending the past four seasons at Western Michigan University.
They're Baaaack
Forward Lucas Drake and defenseman Chris McAllister will be returning the to K-Wings lineup. Drake, who has been out since February 14th, has missed the past 10 games for the K-Wings. McAllister hasn't seen action since January 14th, a span 22 games.
The 700 Club
Tonight's contest is a special one for forward Brent Cullaton. With his first shift, Cullaton will be appearing in his 700th professional game.
A Perfect Dozen
Forward Nick Bootland is currently on a 12-game point streak. Bootland's 12-game point streak is a season-high for the K-Wings and one-game shy of tying the UHL's season-high held by Muskegon's Todd Robinson, Rustyn Dolyny and Rockford's Preston Mizzi.
