Game Preview
For the second straight night it will be a win or go home contest for the Kalamazoo Wings as they prepare for game five of the best-of-seven Divisional Semifinal series versus the Fort Wayne Komets. The K-Wings forced game five tonight with a 4-3 victory last night and trail the series three games to one.
Ludwig Blomstrand scored two times on the power-play and goaltender Joel Martin made 31 saves to preserve to the victory. For the game, Kalamazoo went 2-for-6 on the power-play and they have scored three out of the seven goals with a man-advantage.
The Komets offense has registered at least three goals in each of the four games in this series. Matthew Pistilli, who tied the game in third period last night, has scored three goals in his last two games. Even with giving up three goals, goaltender Roman Will's goals-against average is still 1.76 for the series.

Kalamazoo's Sam Ftorek will be playing in his 49th playoff game as a member of the K-Wings. The 49 games places Ftorek in sixth place all-time in team history surpassing Neil Meadmore (1979-1987).
