Cottonmouths to Host Hockey & Heels Night

COLUMBUS, Ga. - This weekend the Columbus Cottonmouths will be hosting Hockey & Heels Friday Night and Wiener Dog Races sponsored by 2nd Avenue Animal Hospital Saturday night. The Snakes will take on the Fayetteville FireAntz Friday night at 7:30 p.m. Saturday night the Cottonmouths will face off against the Peoria Rivermen at 7:30 pm at the Columbus Civic Center.

For Friday night's game, all women's tickets are 50% off and the first 1,000 women in the game will get a free t-shirt courtesy of St Francis Women's Hospital and Georgia Bariatrics. Shannon Szabados will be starting in goal and the games will be officiated by highly decorated female referees Erin Blair and Katie Guay. Friday night is also Teddy Bear Toss Night where fans are encouraged to bring their teddy bear's to be tossed onto the ice after the first Cottonmouths goal. Valley Rescue Mission will also be on-site to collect canned food donations in advance of the holiday season both Friday and Saturday nights.

Bring out your wiener dogs Saturday night for our annual Wiener Dog Race Night. Fans are encouraged to pre-register their pup on 2nd Avenue Animal Hospital's website at http://www.2ndavenuevet.com as spaces are limited.
