COLUMBUS, Ga. - The Columbus Cottonmouths of the Southern Professional Hockey League (SPHL) fans can participate in an MDA lock up of Macon Mayhem's head coach, Kevin Kerr on Wednesday, August 12, 2015. Kerr will arrive in Columbus at the RiverMill Event Center on Wednesday at 9:00am and Columbus Cottonmouths fans will call in to make a pledge to keep Kerr "behind bars," while Macon Mayhem fans will make a pledge to set him free.
On May 13, 2015, Cottonmouths head coach, Jerome Bechard, was "arrested" in Macon, GA and approximately $1,500 was raised for MDA from donations to keep him in jail, or to set him free.
The critical dollars raised will support MDA's mission to save and improve the lives of people fighting Muscular Dystrophy. Together, we will fund treatments and cures, provide life-enhancing programs life state-of-the-art clinics and support groups, and send kids with muscular dystrophy to MDA summer camp, where they'll enjoy "the best week of the year," having fun while gaining confidence and independence.
On Wednesday, August 12, support this mission by making a tax-deductible donation by calling (706)571-0086. All proceeds will go to the Muscular Dystrophy Association.
