
Corpus Christi Signs Defenseman Chance Creger

CORPUS CHRISTI, TX - Corpus Christi IceRays General Manager Pat Dunn announced today that the team has signed defenseman Chance Creger to the 23-man roster. Creger will wear number 8 and is expected to be in uniform this weekend against Amarillo.
"Chance is a big kid who will strengthen our blue line," said head coach Brent Hughes. "He's going to be 17 years old later this week and has tremendous potential."
The 6'3 190 lb. defenseman turns 17 years old on December 6, 2010.
Creger played for the Dallas Ice Jets Tier I Under-18 AAA hockey program earlier this season. He is a native of Colorado.
The IceRays return home this weekend for two games against the Amarillo Bulls on Friday and Saturday with both games starting at 7:05 PM.
