Fresno's Hyland & Siemer to Play in NAHL Top Prospects Tournament

Fresno, Calif. - Fresno Monsters defenseman Walker Hyland and forward John Siemer were selected to play for Team Legwand in the North American Hockey League's 2010 Top Prospects Tournament in Walpole, Massachusetts beginning this Sunday, December 5th. The Prospects Tournament is comprised of four teams of the NAHL's top committed and un-committed college players. Team Legwand is named after the NHL Nashville Predators' forward David Legwand, who played for the NAHL's Compuware Ambassadors.

"This is a huge honor to have Walker and John playing in the NAHL Top Prospects Tournament," explains Head Coach/GM Eric Ballard. "They have worked hard all season long and have been a huge contribution to the Fresno Monsters this season."

The four teams will play a three-game round robin at the Iorio Ice Center. Team Legwand plays Sunday at 4:30PM P.S.T., Monday at 12:00PM P.S.T., and Tuesday at 6:30AM P.S.T. Fans can catch the games live on http://nahl.fasthockey.com .
