Texas Copperheads News Release
Houston - The Texas Copperheads Arena Football Team is proud to announce a new partnership with Newk's Express Cafe.
Fans will soon have an opportunity to eat alongside Copperheads players and the Texas Charmers Dance Team at Newk's Express Cafe, 25712 Highway 290, from 7-9 p.m. Monday, July 9. All diners purchasing a full-priced entree during that time frame will receive a free ticket voucher to any future Copperheads home game in 2007. Autographs and photo opportunities will also be available on the night of the event.
"I have been a huge fan of Newk's since my days in Mississippi. The company originated in Oxford, MS and has quickly become something of an institution in that part of the world," said Copperheads general manager Gary Saunders. "My family was just crazy about the place, so we are happy that they followed us down to Houston."
"Judd Tucker and his crew are waiting to impress you and your family, so get on over to Newk's at your earliest opportunity. I recommend you try Newk's Favorite Salad - it's outstanding!"
For more information on Newk's, the Copperheads encourage all fans to stop by the restaurant. Fans may also visit Newk's online at www.newkscafe.com or call 281-758-1300. For information on Texas Copperheads tickets, visit the team's Web site, www.texascopperheads.com, or call 1-888-897-FANG.
