Texas Copperheads News Release
HOUSTON - Amegy Bank is sending the 2007 Texas Copperheads out with a bang as it announced it will give away Thundersticks to the first 2,000 fans at the team's season finale, July 28 against Rio Grande Valley.
The Copperheads encourage all fans to arrive early to the Richard E. Berry Center, 8787 Barker Cypress, for the 7 p.m. game to receive a pair of Thundersticks from a Texas Charmers dancer. Doors open at 6 pm. Thundersticks are inflatable sticks that make a loud clatter when pounded together.
Amegy Bank's giveaway is just the first of many specials in the Copperheads' finale to their Inaugural af2 season. Season ticket holders may exchange their unused tickets for a complimentary ticket to the final game during the team's regular box office hours - 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Monday-Thursday, 10 a.m.-6 p.m. Friday and 10 a.m. through kickoff on Saturday on weeks with home games.
Fans who wear their favorite college's apparel to the game will also receive half-off tickets. The Copperheads will stage a college battle at halftime.
