Saskatoon Blades News Release
The Saskatoon Blades look to set a new franchise record tomorrow night as they play host to the Brandon Wheat Kings!
The Blades are winners of 13 straight games and are looking to break the record for consecutive wins, set by the 1987-88 Blades. Saskatoon will be hoping to continue the momentum they picked up last night as over 8,600 fans showed up at the Credit Union Centre to watch the Blades defeat Moose Jaw 5-1.
Saskatoon has a lot of success to draw off of so far in the season series against the Wheat Kings. Saskatoon is 4-1-0-1 so far in the season series, outscoring the Wheaties 29-20 in those games. Most recently, Saskatoon dumped Brandon 5-1 on Monday at home.
It's sure to be a great night of hockey with it being "Small Town Night" at the game. Don't let the name fool you, it's bound to be BIG.
