Conquest Playoff Tickets on Sale Tomorrow

(ALBANY, NY) â The Albany Conquest are announcing today that beginning tomorrow, July 22nd, fans will be able to purchase tickets to the team's August 9th second-round playoff game. The Conquest clinched their second straight Northeast Division Championship Saturday night, defeating the Rochester brigade, 69-63, and in the process assuring the Capital Region of at least one home playoff game.
With their record currently at (12-2) for the second season in a row, Albany received a guaranteed first-round playoff BYE. They will host one of the winners of the two first-round conference quarterfinal games. Right now, Tennessee Valley (14-1) and Mohegan (10-5) are the only other American Conference teams to clinch playoff berths. Tennessee Valley has obtained home field throughout the playoffs, while only one spot remains in the National Conference playoff picture.
Fans can purchase tickets to the August 9th playoff game starting at 2:00 PM at the Pepsi Arena box office, any Ticketmaster outlet, or online by visiting www.albanyconquest.com. Season ticket holders received this playoff game ticket for FREE when they purchased their season tickets, while for anyone else, ticket prices will remain the same as they were for the regular season. Lower Level Endzone tickets can be purchased for as low as $8.
The Conquest will wrap-up their regular season this Saturday night against the Mohegan Wolves. Kickoff is set for 7:30 PM as the Conquest, along with partners Price Chopper and Time Warner attempt to set the 2003 af2 single game attendance record. Fans can receive $5 off all tickets with their Price Chopper AdVantage Card, or by using their ticket stub from this past week's victory over Rochester.
