
Conquest Holding Final Dance Team Auditions

ALBANY, NY â The 2002 Northeast Division Champion Albany ConQuest have announced the date for their final dance team audition. The audition for the 2003 Albany Treasure is a two-day process and will take place on Saturday, January 11th and Sunday January 12th.
All dance team applicants must register on Saturday January 11th between the hours of 1:00Pm and 3:00PM. Saturday's itinerary includes skills and dance routine criteria as well as personal interview. All participants will be required to return on Sunday to perform final dance routine.
The event will be held at ABC Sports & Fitness (Latham, NY), the official workout facility of the Albany ConQuest players and dance team.
The Treasure choreographer, Carla Domenico, will be on hand to teach all hopefuls a dance routine and then watch as they perform it afterwards. Dancers will be judged on appearance, kicks, turns and overall dance ability.
All participants should "dress to impress" in appropriate dance attire and make-up. Any young ladies desiring to register must have a high school diploma, or GED equivalent, and are required to pay a non-refundable $25.00 application fee. No music or routine is required, they will be provided at the audition.
The Treasure make regular appearances throughout the Capital Region, both during the season and off-season, interacting with the public and giving away cool ConQuest gear.
