Conor Shanosky Undergoes Wrist Surgery

Washington, D.C. (March 13, 2014) - D.C. United today announced that defender Conor Shanosky has undergone surgery on his left wrist. Dr. Fine and Dr. Rozmaryn of The Orthopaedic Center in Washington, D.C., performed the surgery to repair a fractured left radius in his wrist. He is expected to miss one week.

A Virginia native, Shanosky spent a majority of the 2013 season on loan with the USL Pro side the Richmond Kickers where he featured in 14 games and scored two goals to help lead the Kickers to the 2013 USL Pro Regular Season Championship. In five seasons for the Black-and-Red, the Homegrown signee has played in five games (3 starts) and registered two shots from the center back position.
