June 22, 2017 - Major League Lacrosse (MLL) - Florida Launch News Release

Florida Launch players Connor Buczek and Kieran McArdle have been selected to participate in the 2017 Major League Lacrosse All-Star Game. The game will be played in Sacramento, CA at Bonney Field on Sat., July 8.

Buczek, a third-year man out of Cornell University, earned his second straight All-Star Game appearance with an impressive 18 points in seven games this season. The midfielder currently leads the Launch in two-point goals (2).

"I put in a lot of work, a lot of effort, it's always a nice pat on the back. Ultimately, when it comes down to it, it's a fun experience to go play with great players," said Buczek. "It'll be a fun weekend and certainly a great honor for me."

McArdle's addition to the roster makes it three consecutive appearances, missing the game only in his rookie season. The St. John's University product has exploded on offense this year with 20 points in just four games for the Launch.

"It's awesome. Kieran is an amazing player, obviously a good friend of mine. So, I'm excited to go and share the experience with him," said Buczek when asked about his teammate's selection.

Tickets for the 2017 All-Star Game are available now on majorleaguelacrosse.com.
