Uncasville, CT - The Connecticut Sun announced today that the team has waived guard Yvonne Anderson.
Anderson signed a training camp contract with Connecticut in February and made the team's final roster to begin the season. In 11 games with the Sun, she averaged 3.2 points, 0.8 rebounds, 1.1 assists, 0.3 steals and 0.2 blocks per game.
The Sun are back in action Wednesday, June 15 to take on the Dream at 7pm EST at Mohegan Sun Arena.
