Conference Champions Collide as Lumberjacks and Stampede Meet in Clark Cup Final

MUSKEGON, Michigan (May 6th) - The thrilling 2015 Clark Cup Playoff ride continues on for one final round as the newly-crowned Eastern Conference Champion Muskegon Lumberjacks have punched their first-ever ticket into the Clark Cup Final after a five-game series triumph over the Dubuque Fighting Saints in the Eastern Conference Final. The Lumberjacks get set for a best-of-five series showdown with the Western Conference Champion Sioux Falls Stampede to determine the USHL's top team for the 2014-15 season.

The Lumberjacks get set for a tilt against the Stampede, who finished with the fourth-best record in the Western Conference and paved their way through the West's top two teams to reach the league's championship series. Sioux Falls knocked off the top seed in the Sioux City Musketeers in five games during the Western Conference Semifinal followed by eliminating the second-seeded Tri-City Storm in four games to capture the Western Conference title. The Clark Cup Final features a 2-2-1 format with Muskegon having home ice advantage in hosting Games 1, 2, and 5. The series schedule between the Lumberjacks and Stampede is released as follows (all starting times are in EST):

-  Game 1 (at Muskegon) - Saturday, May 9th at 7:15 pm

-  Game 2 (at Muskegon) - Sunday, May 10th at 7:15 pm

-  Game 3 (at Sioux Falls) - Friday, May 15th at 8:05 pm

-  Game 4 (at Sioux Falls) - Sunday, May 17th at 7:05 pm*

-  Game 5 (at Muskegon) - Wednesday, May 20th at 7:15 pm*

*Games 4 and 5 are if necessary

Like the Eastern Conference Final, the Lumberjacks are bringing back an extended happy hour from when the doors open at 6:15 pm through the end of the first period in $2 beers, soda, and popcorn along with a bonus special of $2 nachos and pretzels available all game long. Also, in honor of Mother's Day this Sunday, all moms that come to Game 2 receive a free ticket to the game.

For fans that are visiting the downtown Muskegon area for any of the three games along the lakeshore, the Holiday Inn and Conference Center located across the street from the L.C. Walker Arena are continuing the "Lumberjacks Rate" of $89.99 a night that includes a complimentary hot breakfast. To make reservations, fans can call the hotel directly at (231) 722-0100.

Additionally, the Lumberjacks are offering extended box office hours during the remainder of the week for accessible customer convenience to purchase tickets for the Clark Cup Final. The box office hours are as follows:

-  Wednesday, May 6th - 10:00 am - 8:00 pm

-  Thursday, May 7th - 10:00 am - 8:00 pm

-  Friday, May 8th - 10:00 am - 8:00 pm

-  Saturday, May 9th - 10:00 am - End of Game 1

-  Sunday, May 10th - 10:00 am - End of Second Intermission

Individual tickets for the Clark Cup Final are on sale at the L.C. Walker Arena Box Office at the following prices. Ticket prices remain the same if bought in advance or on the day of the playoff game:

-  Gold Sections (104-107, 114-117) - $14.00

-  Crimson Sections (101-102, 109-112, 119-120) - $12.00

-  Black Sections (103, 108, 113, 118) - $10.00

-  Youth Price (ages 3-13) - $7.00 anywhere

-  Seniors, Military, Students - $10.00 anywhere

Fans wishing to bring a group of at least ten or more people can receive the group rate of $9.00 for adults and $6.00 for children under the age of 13. The Party Deck is also available for $750.00 that includes 50 tickets along with suites eight, nine, and ten for sale at $270.00 per suite that consists of 12 tickets in each one.
