Tuesday, April 27th - Join Bakersfield Sports Entertainment's Director of Community Relations & Development John Ayre and Bakersfield Blitz Offensive Specialist Steve Wofford as they celebrate The One for the Community Spring Kick-Off Event. The event is the start of the One for the Community Entertainment coupon book fundraiser, which continues through next winter. Bakersfield Sports Entertainment and KGET-TV 17 sponsor the One for the Community Book. The event will be held at the Petroleum Club located at 5060 California Avenue, suite 1200 and starts at 11:00am.

Thursday, April 29th - Come on down to the Holiday Inn Select for the IWR (Indoor War Report) with Blitz Head Coach Rick Van Horne as well as OL/DL Phil Blackmon from 6:00pm - 7:00pm. The IWR is a great chance for fans to meet their favorite members of the 2004 Blitz as well as win great prizes. The Holiday Inn Select is located at the corner of Truxtun Avenue and Q Street. The show can also be heard live each week on the Home of the Bakersfield Blitz, KGEO AM 1230.

Saturday, May 1st - Join Bakersfield Blitz mascot Crusher and the Condors Colonel Claw'd as they make the rounds at the 12th Annual Relay for Life Event at the CSUB soccer fields beginning at 10:00am. The event runs from 9:00 am Saturday, May 1st until 9:00 am Sunday, May 2nd.

Saturday, May 1st - The Blitz Dancers will be at the 12th Annual Festival of Beers from 1:00pm - 5:00pm. The Dancers will be handing out schedules and signing autographs. The Festival of Beers is sponsored by The Active 20/30 Club and benefits local children charities and local troops serving overseas. Stramler Park is located at 1305 North Chester.

Saturday, May 1st - Condors Director of Community Relations & Development John Ayre will be joined by Condors Captain Paul Rosebush at the 6th Annual Herb & Spices Men Cooking Event at the Bakersfield Museum of Art. They will be presenting John Ayre's world-renown "Beer Can Chicken" an unforgettable taste explosion that will wow your senses. Your evening at the museum won't be complete without it. The event begins at 4:30pm with dinner being served 5:00pm - 7:00pm. Tickets for the event are on sale and can be purchased at the museum located at 1930 R Street in Bakersfield.

Saturday, May 1st - Join the Bakersfield Blitz as they host the Arkansas Twisters as KRAB Radio & Kern Schools Federal Credit Union host the Famous Chicken and 2004 Blitz Team Poster Night. Everyone in attendance will receive a 2004 Blitz Team Poster. Also the Famous Chicken will make his Blitz debut and entertain fans 2 to 92.

Bakersfield Blitz individual seats are on sale! They may be purchased through the Centennial Garden box office, which is open from 10:00am - 5:00pm Monday through Friday and opens at Noon on Saturday gameday. Tickets may also be purchased by phone at 322-2525, online at www.ticketmaster.com or at any Ticketmaster location.
