Williams also ranks fifth in the league in receiving yards (381) and ninth in all-purpose yards (566). He has three full years of Arena Football experience on his resume, including two in the AFL. Sanders To Do Signing
Manchester Wolves starting quarterback Chris Sanders will be making a special appearance next Thursday, April 29 at Sports Fans & Collectors Heaven in downtown Manchester. This special event will take place from 4 - 6 PM at the local sports store, located at 669 Elm Street across the street from the Center of New Hampshire Radisson Inn. Wolves' fans of all ages are cordially invited to attend. Sanders, one of the Wolves most recognizable and most engaging players, will be on hand to sign autographs and pose for pictures as well. Sports Fans & Collectors Heaven will also be having a special sale on Wolves merchandise in honor of their guest. The store will be marking down prices $5 - $10 on select shirts and apparel to make room for their brand new stock of Wolves merchandise. Don't miss out on this unique chance to catch Chris up close and get a great deal on team apparel.
Wolves Huddle Up For Food Drive On April 30
The Manchester Wolves have teamed up with the National Association of Letter Carriers to help the organization in their efforts to "Stamp Out Hunger." As a special prelude to the 12th annual NALC National Food Drive on Saturday, May 8, the Wolves will be holding their own food drive outside the Verizon Wireless Arena prior to their next home game on Friday, April 30 against the Albany Conquest. All fans need to do to help the cause is bring their non-perishable food donations to the game and deposit them into a special food truck which will be located outside the Verizon Wireless Arena. As an added incentive to contribute, everyone who donates food that night (Friday, April 30) will automatically be entered into a random drawing to win the "Lay-Z-Boy Fan Upgrade of the Game." The fan upgrade of the game is a prized promotion where a select group of fans gain entrance into a special seating section that is ultra comfortable and extra close to the action.
Scouting The Wolves Week Five Opponent - Albany Conquest
Albany will enter Friday night's game against the Wolves at 0-3 after a heartbreaking home loss to Louisville on Saturday night. James Scott hauled in a nine-yard touchdown pass from Matt Sauk with just three seconds remaining in the game as the Fire (3-0) burned the Conquest, 62-56. Albany slow start in 2004 may be directed toward its defense, as the Conquest have allowed almost 60 points per game (59.7). Albany has also committed 12 turnovers while forcing just five in return. Last time these two teams squared off in Albany on April 16, Manchester scored its first win of 2004, 47-34. The Conquest and Wolves have battled seven times in their three-year history. Albany leads the all-time series 5-2.
