COMING UP FOR THE COMETS:

The Comets (12-17) play tomorrow in Philadelphia (17-11) and then return to Kemper Arena this weekend for their final home games in March.

The Comets and the KiXX play their final regular season match on Tuesday night. Kickoff is at 6:05 p.m. CST. The Comets currently hold the series advantage with two wins and one loss. The Comets are also 1-0 at Wachovia Spectrum with an 11-9 win coming in November. The Comets won the teams' last meeting (Jan. 10) in overtime at Kemper Arena. Kansas City's only loss (13-8) came on November 28 at Kemper Arena.

On Friday, March 12 at Kemper Arena, Kansas City and Milwaukee will meet for the second time in less than a week. Kickoff is at 7:35 p.m. The Wave won Saturday's game against the Comets by a score of 9-7. Milwaukee now leads the season series 3-2. Friday's game will be the last regular season meeting for the teams.

· Give-away: the first 3,000 fans who enter Kemper Arena will receive a Wes Wade bobblehead. Wade entered the 2003-04 season as Kansas City's all-time leader in games played, points, blocks. He is a seven-time All-Star and has been a member of five championship teams (two with the Comets and three with the San Diego Sockers of the original MISL). Wade will be available to sign his bobblehead after the game.
· Theme: Friday is also KC Heritage Night! Come to the game to meet local sports heroes.
· Special Guests: T-Bone from 98.9 The Rock will broadcast live from the game.

On Saturday, March 13 at Kemper Arena, the Comets play their last home game in March. The Comets look for their first win against the Eastern Division Cleveland Force. Cleveland is the only team in the MISL that Kansas City has yet to beat. The Force won the two previous games by a combined score of 19-15. The teams will meet for the final time on March 21 in Cleveland.

· Give-away: The first 3,000 fans who enter Kemper Arena will receive the final poster in AMC's poster series. The "2 Fast 2 Furious" poster features Comets players Jamar Beasley and Anthony Maher and Galaxy Girls Savannah and Michelle.
· Theme: Saturday is also Oscar Night! Come dressed like a celebrity for a chance to win "star treatment" for a night. Register with 96.5 The Buzz for a free night at the Hyatt Regency Crown Center and other great prizes!
· Special Guests: 96.5 The Buzz

ON THE ROAD AGAIN:

After Saturday's game against Cleveland, the Comets end the month of March with a three-game road trip. Next week's games are in St. Louis and Cleveland. Both can be heard on KCKN 1340 AM.

THE WEEK THAT WAS:

The Comets returned from the All-Star break with a game against the Milwaukee Wave on Saturday night at U.S. Cellular Arena. The Comets trailed 4-2 at halftime but managed to tie the game at 6-6 and 7-7. Milwaukee's Chris Morman added his first goal of the night with 1:13 remaining, and the Wave added an insurance goal against sixth attacker Vlatko Andonovski for the 9-7 win.

Kansas City falls to 12-17 and now trails Milwaukee by nine and a half games. The Comets lead St. Louis by one game.

SATURDAY'S GAME REPLAYED:

Comets fans who missed Saturday's game in Milwaukee still have three chances to catch it replayed on Metro Sports. The game will be replayed at 1:30 p.m. and 7 p.m. on Wednesday, March 10 and at 1 p.m. on Friday, March 12.

COMETS IN THE COMMUNITY:

Kansas City Comets players have one School Is A Kick (SIAK) assembly this week. Two Comets players will visit Fairview Elementary (Olathe, KS) on Thursday, March 11. SIAK gives Comets players a chance to talk to students about the importance of hard work, responsibility and respect. Each student also receives a voucher to attend an upcoming Comets home game.
