
Comets Prepare for Back-to-Back Games

The Comets (9-12) look build a winning streak after back-to-back games this weekend. They begin the weekend with a trip to Baltimore to face the defending champion Blast (11-13) tonight. The game is set to kick off at 1st Mariner Arena at 6:35 p.m. and can be heard live at www.wcbm.com. In the season series against the Blast, the Comets are 1-1 with their last win coming on Jan. 27 at Kemper Arena. All-time against the Blast, the Comets hold a slim 20-17 advantage. In the first two games this season, the Comets have been led offensively by Vlatko Andonovski and James Koehler, who have each notched five total points.
The Comets conclude the weekend aiming for their first win this season against the first place Philadelphia KiXX (16-9). The game kicks off at 7:35 p.m. at Kemper Arena. The first 1,500 fans to enter the gates will receive a free Comets visor. Philadelphia leads the season series 3-0 but has not defeated the Comets by more than a two-goal margin in any of those games. All-time against the KiXX, the Comets are 14-17. The Comets have been led offensively by Vlatko Andonovski, who has six points in the three matches.
Comets and Harrah's Team Up for Exciting Promotions
A special promotion for the Feb. 19 game is a FREE shuttle, provided by Harrah's North Kansas City Hotel & Casino. Fans can park at Harrah's and enjoy a complimentary ride to Kemper Arena. The shuttle will also be offered for the Feb. 26 game.

The shuttle will depart from Harrah's main casino entrance at approximately 6:45 p.m. and will return to Harrah's after the game. It's a great opportunity for fans interested in attending the post-party at Harrah's Purple Twist Bar, located on the second floor of the casino.
The Comets are also offering a "buy one $12 ticket, get one free" to all Harrah's Total Rewards members. This discount is available at the Kemper Arena Box Office, located on the south side of the arena. Also, be sure to sign up for the Harrah's Seat Updrade at the Comets Guest Relations Table in the East Lobby of Kemper Arena at any of the remaining Comets home games!

Catch the rematch of last year's MISL Semifinal game as the Milwaukee Wave travel to Kansas City to face the Comets in back-to-back home games.
The Friday, Feb. 25 game kicks off at Kemper Arena at 7:35 p.m. The first 2,500 fans will receive a Comets Nesting Doll (while supplies last).
The teams meet again the following night on Saturday, Feb. 26 for the final game of the weekend. Kickoff is set for 7:35 p.m. The Comets welcome Girl Scouts and residents of Overland Park! The first 2,000 fans will receive a 2004-05 Comets team poster, courtesy of AMC Theatres. Stick around after the game for an autograph session with all of your favorite Comets players in the East Lobby of Kemper Arena.
Then, head to Harrah's North Casino Hotel & Casino for the Comets' post-game party. It starts appromixately 30 minutes after the conclusion of the game at Purple Twist, a bar on the second floor of the casino.
