Montclair, New Jersey - In the final game of their inaugural home series, the NY/NJ Comets fell to the Chicago Bandits 11-3.

For the Bandits, both Megan Wiggins and Eri Yamada delivered homeruns in the game. Wiggins had a stellar 4 for 4 day at the plate that included 3 RBI and 3 runs. Yamada hit her third homerun in as many games. From the circle, Bandits pitcher Nikki Nemitz went the distance collecting her first win of the season (1-1).

From the circle, Taryne Mowatt collected her second loss of the season (0-2) surviving just two innings before yielding to reliever Angel Bunner, who finished the game.

Next up, the Comets are set to host the Akron Racers in a series that begins June 19 at CocaCola Field in LeHigh Valley, PA. The Comets and Racers are currently tied for third place with identical records of 2-6.

The Chicago Bandits are set to host the USSSA Pride in Rosemont, IL in a much anticipated match-up between the clubs who are both sitting at 6-2, tied for first in the League standings.
