Comets Announce Launch of Team Mobile App

(Kansas City, MO) - The Comets Major Indoor Soccer League Team announced today the launch of the official Comets downloadable mobile app. Comets fans can now stay connected to their favorite professional indoor soccer team like never before. Fans can purchase tickets, view stats from previous games, roster information about their favorite Comets players, and keep up with all the latest news from around the MISL.
The mobile app was developed by Moblico, a Kansas City-based company specializing in providing industry-leading mobile business solutions. Fans can go to www.moblico.com/apps/comets to download the app starting today.
"We are thrilled to help bring Comets fans even closer to the team with mobile technology," said Pierre Barbeau, CEO of Moblico. The Comets will also have exclusive offers from their sponsors available only to their mobile app users, who can also sign up for text and email alerts right from their phone. The Comets team app is available now in the Android Market and will be available to iPhone users through Apple's iTunes store in the coming weeks.

The Comets next game is this Sunday, December 19th at 3:10 p.m. at the Independence Events Center against the Chicago Riot. It will mark the first time the home crowd has a chance to see hometown stars, Jeff Davis and Nate Houser, along with two other new Comets, Tiguinho and Birche.
