Bossier-Shreveport Mudbugs News Release
BOSSIER CITY, LA - Join us tomorrow night at the brand new Feisty Nag Pub & Eatery for a special playoff watch party as the Bossier-Shreveport Mudbugs take on the Rapid City Rush in Game 1 of the Northern Conference Finals! The Feisty Nag is located inside Harrah's Louisiana Downs at 8000 E. Texas Street in Bossier City.
As the Mudbugs and Rush start their best-of-seven playoff series at 8:05 pm tomorrow, the Feisty Nag will show the live CHL TV broadcast of the game from Rapid City, South Dakota. Live coverage starts at 7:45 with video from the Rushmore Plaza Civic Center and audio from Mudbugs play-by-play broadcaster Travis Huntington, who can also be heard on AM 1130 KWKH.
Admission is free and the entire family is welcome so you can join your fellow Mudbugs fans in cheering the team on as they start round three of the playoffs! You'll also have the chance to win great Mudbugs door prizes at the Feisty Nag, including a team-signed stick, an autographed team photo and many more.
The 'Bugs are back in the Northern Conference Finals after a three-year absence to face to Rush, with the winner of this series advancing to play for the President's Cup. The Mudbugs swept #2 Colorado in the conference semis to get here, while top-seeded Rapid City defeated #5 Missouri, also by way of a sweep. The 'Bugs won the regular season series between the teams with a 2-0-1 record against the Rush.
After tomorrow's Game 1, the teams will play Game 2 Sunday in Rapid City before traveling back to Bossier-Shreveport for the next three games. The series shifts to CenturyTel Center on Wednesday, April 14 for Game 3. Game 4 will follow on Friday, April 16 and Game 5 (if necessary) is set for Saturday, April 17.
