
Columbus Recalls Left Wing Tom Sestito

Syracuse, NY (November 15, 2009) - The Syracuse Crunch announced today that the Columbus Blue Jackets have recalled left wing Tom Sestito.
Sestito, 22, has appeared in all 16 games this season for the Crunch, and is currently tied for fifth on the team in scoring with five goals, three assists and 64 penalty minutes.
He has skated in 134 AHL games, all with the Crunch, recording 20 goals, 31 assists and 434 penalty minutes. He made his NHL debut with Columbus on April 6, 2008 vs. St. Louis and registered 17 penalty minutes in that game.
A native of Rome, NY, Sestito was selected by Columbus in the third round, 85th overall, in the 2006 NHL Entry Draft.
The Crunch travel to Albany on Wednesday, November 18 and Rochester on Friday November 20, before returning home to face Hartford on Saturday, November 21 at 7:30 p.m. at the War Memorial at Oncenter.
