
Columbus Destroyers announce radio broadcast parnership with Infinity Broadcasting Columbus

COLUMBUS, OH â The Columbus Destroyers of the Arena Football League have announced that Infinity Broadcasting Columbus will be team's official radio broadcast partner with 107.1 WAZU, The Big Wazoo, as the flagship station for the Destroyers radio network. Announcements relative to naming the on-air broadcast team and affiliate stations are forthcoming.
"When you consider the demographics and the promotional strength of Infinity Broadcasting in Columbus, they represent a perfect match for the Destroyers," said team president Dave Whinham.
WAZU will carry live broadcasts of all 16 regular season games as well as potential postseason contests. Infinity Broadcasting Columbus encompasses WAZU along with The Real Rock Station WLVQ QFM96 and WHOK Country Legends K95.
"We are thrilled to be the official radio broadcast partner of the Columbus Destroyers with WAZU anchoring the radio network," added Valerie Brooks, Senior Vice President, Market Manager for Infinity Broadcasting Columbus. The Columbus Destroyers kick off the 2004 season Saturday, February 7 at Indiana followed by the inaugural home opener Friday, February 13 hosting Carolina. Season tickets are available starting as low as $72 for eight games and single-game seats, starting as low as $9, are also on sale now.
