
Columbus Assigns Mike York to Crunch

Syracuse, NY (December 24, 2008) - The Syracuse Crunch announced today that the Columbus Blue Jackets have assigned left wing Mike York to the Crunch.
York, 30, has appeared in 28 games for the Crunch this season, tallying seven goals, 16 assists and 10 penalty minutes. He has also skated in one game for Columbus this year. A native of Waterford, Michigan, York was signed by Columbus as a free agent on July 25, 2008.
The Crunch's next game is Friday, December 26 as they travel to Binghamton to take on the Senators at 7:05 p.m. The Crunch return home on Saturday, December 27 for a 7:30 p.m. contest against the Hamilton Bulldogs.
