"It is great to be back as the Colts broadcaster I really enjoyed my time here last time and learned so much. To have another opportunity to work with Colts Manager Doc Edwards and GM Mike Babcock is just terrific. The fans, community, and ballpark upgrades really make San Angelo a great town to both live and work in and I am thrilled to have the opportunity to return a second time", Liebman said.
Ira returns this time as the as Director of Broadcasting and Community Relations for San Angelo.
Last time he was with the Colts he served as the Director of Broadcasting/Media Relations & Marketing, working the inaugural year of the United League. "
We owe it to our fans and Foster Communications to put together the best possible broadcast. We do not strive to be the best in the ULB or the best in Minor League Baseball; we want to compete at the big league level in all aspects of our operations.
Ira is the kind of addition we've been looking for to replace Judson Richards, who left us for the Ranger's AAA team in Oklahoma City", said Colts GM Mike Babcock.
Last time Liebman worked for the Colts he made the jump to Triple-A as the Director of Community Relations/Marketing for the Sky Sox in Colorado Springs, the Colorado Rockies Triple-A affiliate.
