Colorado Venom Announce Open Try-outs

Loveland, CO-The Colorado Venom of the National Indoor Football League have announced that open try-outs for the 2004 team will be held Sunday, February 8th from 10:00am- 4:00pm at the Fort Collins high school gym. Registration for try-outs will begin at 9:00am, the fee for trying out is $50 (cash only), all participants will receive a t-shirt. Participants are asked to come ready to work out, please wear tennis shoes (no turf shoes), kicker try-outs will be held at a later date. Participants will be asked to due a variety of speed, strength, and agility drills, which will be evaluated by team staff. A mini-camp will be held in the folloing weeks to evaluate invited players more fully.
The Colorado Venom are entering their first season of play in the National Indoor Football League, at the Budweiser Events Center the season begins March 13th at Utah, the first home game is April 3rd vs. Lincoln. The Venom compete in the southern division of the Pacific Conference.
Season tickets prices for the 7 home games are on sale now. Season tickets prices range from $70 to $245 for the 7 home games. For more information regarding the team or to order season tickets, call the Colorado Venom front office at 970-206-4889.
