DENVER - The Colorado Mammoth selected transition player Ryan Hotaling, defenseman Greg Peyser, and forwards Gary Bining and Sean Morris in Friday's dispersal draft of Boston Blazers players.

Hotaling, the 12th overall pick in the draft, was the third best face-off man in the NLL in 2011, having won 56% of his draws. The 26-year-old Syracuse native has collected 215 loose balls in two NLL seasons, both with Boston.

"Ryan is a top-notch face-off guy that our organization hasn't had since Jamie Hanford left," said Mammoth President & General Manager Steve Govett. "He is also a solid defender."

Peyser, the Mammoth's third-round selection, never suited up for Boston. From 2007-2010, he appeared in 43 games for the Titans organization. In 2010, Peyser scooped up 110 loose balls.

"We found out moments before the draft that Greg was very excited about the possibility of playing in Denver," said Govett. "He's a tremendous athlete who's been showcasing his skills on a national level since his college career at Johns Hopkins."

Bining and Morris were both originally selected by the Mammoth in the 2006 NLL Entry Draft, but neither has appeared in a game for Colorado. Bining scored 35 goals in 28 career games in two seasons for Boston from 2009-2010. In 21 career games over the past four seasons, Morris registered 17 goals and 34 assists.
