Fort Collins, CO - The Colorado Ice Indoor Football team is gearing up for their first round of open tryouts this Sunday, October 26th from 10am-1pm at Fort Collins Soccer Club at OD's Sports Crossing in Fort Collins, CO.

The Colorado Ice have received overwhelming interest from players across the nation who want to play professionally. In addition to prominent local players who played for surrounding high schools and colleges, aspiring professional players from over 10 states (as far away as Hawaii) are planning to attend. Head Coach Collins Sanders stated, "Our talent level is definitely going to jump up a level this season. We've got some really talented players coming in to the Ice organization and a solid lineup of returning players. These tryouts will give us the chance to witness these guys in action and give our returning players a chance to get on the field. I'm eager to see how our local players compete with the talent we have coming in from out of state."

The Ice will be conducting a combine-style tryout with height, weight, 40 yard dash, 225 bench x reps, vertical jump, and pro agility (right and left) tested. Additional position-specific drills will be conducted and supervised by Ice position coaches. Registration fees are $45 for pre-registered participants and $55 the day of the tryout. Pre-registered participants may pay with check or credit card, same day walk-up registration is cash only. OD's Sports Crossing is located at 218 Smokey St., at Highway 287/S. College Ave. in Ft.
