
Colorado Ice Sign Northern Colorado Running Back

Fort Collins, CO - The Colorado Ice are proud to announce the signing of University of Northern Colorado standout Andre Harris to the 2012 roster.
Harris, a 6'0", 221 lb running back played his collegiate football at the University of Northern Colorado, just 20 minutes down the road from where he will be playing games in 2012. Harris who was rated as the 29th best running back prospect in the 2011 draft class also received recognition from a few other scouting services; one of which rated him as the 53rd best running back in the nation and the other of which rated him as the 8th best "sleeper" prospect in the 2011 draft.
Harris spent his final two seasons at UNC, where he quickly became a force; accumulating 1,336 rushing yards, 17 rushing touchdowns, 275 receiving yards, and 1 receiving touchdown. Before UNC, Harris played his collegiate football at El Camino CC and West Los Angeles JC. In those two seasons, Harris accumulated 633 rushing yards, 12 rushing touchdowns, 142 receiving yards, and 1 receiving touchdown; all leading up to him being rated as a 4 star recruit coming out of El Camino CC.
