Colorado Ice Sign Defensive Tackle with NFL Experience

Fort Collins, CO - The Colorado Ice are proud to announce the signing of Tommie Duhart, former Carolina Panther defensive tackle.

Duhart is a 6'4", 310 lb defensive tackle from Valdosta State University, who was rated as the 49th best defensive tackle prospect for the 2010 draft class. Duhart played his senior season at Valdosta State University where he made a name for himself, accumulating 20 tackles, 2 tackles for loss, and 2 sacks.

After his senior season, Duhart gained interest from numerous NFL teams, resulting in him signing with the Carolina Panthers and spending the 2010 season on their practice squad.

Before Valdosta State, Duhart spent two seasons at the University of Pittsburgh, where he accumulated 27 tackles, 5 tackles for loss, 1 sack, and 2 forced fumbles.
