Fort Collins, CO) - The Colorado Ice (9-1) get their 9th win by running the ball over the Nebraska Danger (3-7). Of the 193 yards of Offense by the Ice, 92 were rushing yards by Quarterback David Knighton (5) and Running Back Maurice Greer (34).

Greer (34) comes out of the game with 71 yards rushing for 5 touchdowns and 25 yards receiving, along with the 55 yard kickoff return for a touchdown by Demarcus James (10) makes up the bulk of scoring by the Ice. Colorado Ice Kicker Rocky Stevens (26) had a great night with 2 field goals and 5 points after touchdowns.

Although not a big night of passing for the Ice, Knighton (5) passed for 101 yards on 8 completions and 1 interception. The receiving core was lead by Duane Brooks (2) who had 3 receptions for 41 yards.

The Ice Defense made the Danger take notice throughout the game. Prince Hall (40) had an interception which he took back for 20 yards, as well as, a sack pushing the Danger back 4 yards. The Ice had a total of 3 sacks on the night with the other two coming from Eryk Anders (32) and Melquan Fair (91). Demarcus James (10) lead the Defense with 10 unassisted tackles and 1 assist for a tackle.

The Colorado Ice head home for their rematch with the Tri-Cities Fever on Friday, May 20th at 7pm. It is Hope Lives! The Lydia Dody Breast Cancer Foundation Night, for every ticket purchased for the May 20th game $1 is donated to Hope Lives! Also, the first 500 in the door will get PINK Pom Poms, courtesy of D&D Painting.

In addition to the $1 donations to Hope Lives! The Colorado Ice and Ag Land Inc. will be combining efforts to raise more funds with the Ag Land Football Toss, with all the funds received from the football toss going to Hope Lives!
