
Colorado Ice Add to 2011 Preseason Roster

(Fort Collins, CO) - The Colorado Ice are proud to announce the signings of two new players to the Colorado Ice Organization. The players are K Josh Arauco and OL/DL Xavier Manuel.
Arauco is a 5'9", 210 lb kicker from Arkansas State University. CBS Sports rated Arauco the 9th best kicker prospect in the nation for the 2009-2010 season. Arauco comes to the ICE with one of the most productive kicking careers in recent history. Arauco became the Sun Belt Conference and Arkansas State all time leader in field goals made (58) and points by a kicker (288) during the 2009 season. Before his senior season Arauco was named to the Lou Groza Award watch list which recognizes the nation's best kicker every year. For his career Arauco was 58 of 76 with a career long of 45 yards.
Manuel is a 6'1", 305 lb offensive and defensive linemen from Alabama A&M University. CBS Sports rated Manuel the 49th best center prospect in the nation for the 2009-2010 season. Manuel was a two time SWAC first team offensive lineman during his career at Alabama A&M and started in 33 games spanning from his sophomore to senior seasons. After his prolific career at Alabama A&M, Manuel was invited to be a member of the 2009 HBCU All Star game which consists of the nation's best players from the Historically Black Colleges & Universities.
